The check in was terrible. I was waiting in the lobby because I didn’t notice a small sign saying the actual check in was on the 5th floor. At check in - it was quite late and I asked about where I could eat and was told maybe some places around here. There were no specifics offered. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable - like lying on a slab of wood.

Nice but not as expected
Location is supreme as it is close to many attractions and the MTR. HOWEVER the advertisement on hotel.com is incorrect as there is no laundry service at all which caused us some difficulties. Also there was no soap or hand towels in the room and when we asked at reception for those, they said the property did not provide this (two days later we finally got towels). The bed gave us another surprise as it is hard as a stone. Apart from this the room is nicely decorated but due to building works the lifts and exits were restricted.

The hotel rooms are basic but comfortable, and the staff made a sincere effort to accommodate us. However, we did encounter several challenges during our stay. The soundproofing could be improved, as we could hear other guests in their rooms until late at night. Additionally, there is a bar directly below the hotel that plays loud music and stays busy until 2 a.m. Even after we were moved from the 6th floor to the 14th floor following our complaint, the noise was still noticeable. The beds are quite firm, which might take some getting used to, especially if you're accustomed to softer mattresses. Lastly, the air conditioning unit was quite loud, resembling the noise of an aircraft taking off. This left us with the choice of either enduring the heat or having a noisy aircon running throughout the night. For the price range- i find this hotel bigger than Japan Hotel. Room was well maintained, daily cleaning with free 2 cans water. Located in TST-in very desirable area- near metro station, tourist attraction, shopping area and lots and lots of dining around. Bed brings the score down. It is not comfortable at all. My back ached my whole stay. If only bed was softer- this would be 5 stars for me.
