Unfortunately there were no views of the water and the apartments were a good walk out of town - which only bothered us when it was raining.

Great location, walk to lighthouse!
Building and apartments are a little dated but still a great place to stay. A bit tricky finding a park to check in as it’s always so busy in this street so suggest to park in drive way and move if needed.
Apartment was large and well equipped and while you can’t see the ocean it is across the road and you can hear it. Walking distance to the lighthouse and less than a 10 minute walk in the central shopping area of Byron. Would stay here again.

Great, spacious apartment with excellent hosts!
Our stay at Cape Apartments went above and beyond expectations. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. The hosts were so incredible, providing us with recommendations of good places to grab dinner and were happy to chat to us making us feel so welcome. Overall such a great stay at Cape Apartments, I would recommend anyone looking to stay in Byron Bay to check out this location, being a very short walk to the beach, and also a short walk to the centre of town, with amazing hosts.

DO NOT STAY HERE - MOULD - I COULDN'T BREATHE
I checked in and left within an hour. Unfortunately I had already paid for this room. I couldn't stay there due to the overwhelming smell of mould - I couldn't breathe. I have photos of mould on the sofas - it was UNINABITABLE.

Comfortable apartment in a great location
Perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The apartment was nice and large and in a great spot. We could walk into town and up to the lighthouse while still being out of the traffic. Very close to walk to the beach. Lovely staff made our stay easy.

Great location if you want to be near Wategos beach. Quieter part of town. 10-15min stroll to town centre. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Although, aircon only in the living room
