This property is very well located, near main tourist attractions and restaurants. The air conditioners in the rooms were not functioning very well. The day we arrived they offered us a room with a non-functioning air conditioner. I had to insist on getting a room with a properly working air conditioner, it took over half an hour to get the matter settled.

Absolutely fantastic location. I can't imagine a better location to the sights in Rome. They have an elevator (not a guarantee in Rome), the WI-FI was included and worked without glitch. The room was comfortable and clean.

Great location, easy walk to Vatican, Castello St Angelo, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, etc. and to a stop for many of the hop on hop off buses, on south side of Tiber, east of bridge to Castello St Angelo. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk along back streets and in Piazza Navona. Rooms are spacious, in an apartment building, with a small reception area. Simple but adequate continental breakfast available in room, alternatively in dining room of “main” or parent hotel 5 - 10 minutes walk away, but in general direction of stop for many of the hop on hop off buses. (We only had continental.)

Prime Location & Deal

Hands down you can't beat the location. Shops, restaurants and more just outside the main door. Pretty much in the center for all the major Tourist attractions, which saved us 100s. The staff recommended a parking garage that was great and saved us seeious dinero. Rooms were clean and batheoom was moderns. A/C pumps it out, which was important with 100°F days.

Wonderful location in a vibrant area

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The second floor location gave us a wonderful view of the buzzing street below and the hotel was located in the heart of restaurants and shops near the Piazza Navona. We were able to walk almost everywhere. It was a little noisy in the evening, as you’d expect, but the insulation was pretty good. Would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant stay

Very centrally located. Hotel rooms are small, as is typical of Rome, but comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Warning to those who have difficulty walking stairs: There is an elevator but it stops between levels so you still have to walk stairs. Staff is very quick in fixing any problems. Breakfast is in a sister-facility, 5 min away. You can have it delivered to your room, but it's worth the walk. It's on the roof terrace (with nice views over Rome) and the spread of food is remarkable (particularly for Italian standards). Highly recommended.

Good location, poor service

Perfect location, lovely room and I would definitely stay again but had 3 complaints: - had quite a long argument at check in about payment (I had paid through hotels.com in advance but the hotel wanted to take a second payment from me) - breakfast is included but you have to go to their partner hotel (5 mins walk away) or you can have a continental breakfast served in your room. I went to the other hotel once and then ordered room service after that but was a bit cross that this was not mentioned anywhere when I booked the hotel. - tried to book a taxi back to the airport (which I know is €30 to Ciampino) but they tried to offer me their ‘car service’ for €50 instead. I travel to Rome often enough to know that this was too much but other guests might fall for this. I travel to Rome quite a lot and, overall, would definitely stay here again as the location and quality of the room outweigh the negatives.

Good place to stay at for a reasonable price

The hotel is well-placed in a nice small building, it's some part of a branch hotel at the other side of the round so you have to wait 5 minutes for someone to come from the other hotel open your room. The room is very large. A few things to mention: 1. The room is a bit dusty, it felt like it wasn't used for sometime. 2. There is a large window that opens into a balcony, the balcony could be reached from the corridor, so if the window wasn't locked anyone could walk in the room. 3. The shower towel warmer wasn't working, and the button to switch between a top shower and a hand shower wasn't working. 4. Breakfast is a walking distance to the other hotel (but you could ask for room breakfast with no additional charge) on arrival the elevator is a bit old to go all the way to the 5th floor (so we climbed the stairs). 5. Pictures at the room were creepy, but ignorable. The breakfast is served at a beautiful balcony watching the whole city. The food was so good and so many options, be sure to try the pizza bits. Hotel location is amazing, so close to everything, and the street had the best ice cream I ever tasted and the pizza place downstairs is so nice. There are a few cheap bars around and some cool place to eat.

Very Disappointing

Basic room was extremely small even by European standards. Queen bed was against the wall and still had to walk sideways to get around the room. We had a duffel bag, a carry on bag and 2 backpacks and had to stack them on top of each other. Air conditioning leaked causing a large puddle that got several items wet. We requested a larger room which they gave us for 2 of our 4 nights. However the larger room's air conditioner was broken. When we requested a fan we were told the air conditioning was not broken and we could not have a fan. The desk clerk was not happy that we were leaving our room door open to try and create a cross draft so he called the owner again and was told someone would come look at it the next day. They did but did not fix it or provide a fan. Clerks were nice and tried to help but management did not care. Location was good, walking distance to many of the major Rome sites. Breakfast was good although we had to walk several blocks to another hotel. The view from the roof-top terrace where they served breakfast was amazing and worth the walk.

great hotel near interesting attractions (piazza navona or vatican city) closer to bus station 40/63 lines to/from termini train station, the hotel only has a small message in the door bell that indicates the name of hotel so you have to be aware to find it. service was great, hotel room with Italian style, and hotel was located closer to many attractions. breakfast included, you need to walk about 4 blocks to get your breakfast.

Mediocre hotel at a terrific location

The breakfast was outstanding and the location is perfect for seeing everything from the coliseum to the Vatican. The service was fine and the room clean. The cons were windows facing the really smelly interior of the building and a musky old room. Overall we were satisfied with the value.

Central, Friendly

So close, 25 minutes maximum walking time to either the Vatican or the Coliseum, set within back alleys which come alive at night for all your dinner requirements, wonderful night's sleep each night on a firm bed, no street noise at all, spacious bathroom, a short walk should you want breakfast on a roof top terrace, or just ask for a delivery to your room in the morning, Vanessa the front office person was friendly and spoke to us at length of all that we needed to know, can not recommend highly enough.
