Nothing to write home about
I’ve stayed here previously. This time it felt a little different. The front desk staff wasn’t rude, but they were as friendly as the ones I’ve encountered before. Our remote control didn’t work we let them know the first day and was told maintenance would be up within a hour and they never came our whole stay we ended up having to add the remote to our phone to change the channel. There was also a roach in our room something we had never seen before in our previous stay. Overall the hotel is okay and in a great area

Location is great. Service was good too. Though the only good things about this place. The area is definitely unsafe, especially at night. But in all honesty, it’s very close to 5 star hotels too so not much to do about the area.. Breakfast was free but doesn’t have any real food. Even eggs tasted like powdered or something. No real food whatsoever for breakfast. Coffee was always old and bitter cause they keep reheating the same batch probably. I cannot stress enough how terrible the food was. I had to buy eggs from Walgreens and make my own breakfast. I’d only get bread from their breakfast. They didn’t even have real butter. I couldn’t even fry my eggs in my own kitchen. I had to boil them everyday because of the condition the pans were in. I couldn’t even use the sink in the kitchen cause the tip was covered in mold. Same goes for their bathroom’s sink and the mechanical room’s ceiling definitely had something going on too, with a strong smell coming from it. The whole room was very outdated and 2 star looking. It’s spacious but definitely everything was old, in bad and dirty condition. I won’t be back. You pay for a 4 star hotel but receive 2 star quality. Not worth it, spend a little extra and get a better hotel.

Nice Getaway
The room has a large living space that was very comfortable and accommodating. The kitchen was clean and neatly arranged. The master bedroom was small but comfortable with a spacious closet. The bathroom was large and and accommodating as well. The room was 9 out 10.

A fantastic suite, very large with full kitchen. Helpful & kind staff. The only issue we had was that the outlets in the room were finicky and often didn’t work, and the bathroom light switch automatically turned on the fan which was very loud and could not be turned on separately.

One particularly rude receptionist
The experience was pitiful, the entire gym was broken. Literally every single gym equipment was broken, including the water machine. I asked about a late checkout through their upgrade offers email and was told that I would get a decision at time of check in. Not only did I not get a confirmation upon check in but i was told on the day before leaving that I was unable to get one from another employee who stopped the front desk receptionist from even checking if it was possible or even if I could get a smaller extension. Now I was willing to pay whatever they asked for the late check out and i am fully aware that i am not owed one but I would expect some willingness to check if it was possible and a timely decision so i can make some contingency plans. The receptionists overall are great but there's a particular one who seemed to make it a mission to make our stay as awful as possible. Very disappointing and I promise to stay away from this brand for all my travel needs.

Great location for visit to NOLA
Perfect "apartment" base for us to visit the French Quarter. The Loyola Ave location was great to walk to all sites. Easy pick ups by Uber and Lift. Fully stocked free breakfast helped with our trip budget. Very friendly staff.

Very basic place to sleep
The staff wasn't very friendly. A couple were but most weren't. They didn't clean my room as requested but tried to fix the problem, so that was good. The hallways weren't vacuumed or cleaned for at least two days. The same large pieces of debris was still there. Two of my luggage covers were thrown away but the cleaning staff. You can tell that they weren't to be thrown away. The breakfast can and needs to be improved. The sausage were horrible and the waffle machine didn't work so they had frozen ego type waffles sitting out to be put into the toaster. The ice maker didn't work. Not one piece in five days.
