This was such a pleasant place to spend our one night in Coimbra. Super walkable to explore the town from. Street parking was a breeze and free. Santa Clara Guest House is perfect for a visit to Coimbra. Great location, clean and well equipped rooms. Sofia on reception was friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of information and some good recommendations for breakfast and dinner. There is a free underground car park 5 minutes from the guest house. Highly recommended

Great place to stay, just across a bridge from (and view upon) the Old Town of Coimbra, hence much quieter (with double-paned windows). Renovated yet with charm. Comfy beds. Good sized bedroom, functional bathroom. Great welcome as well as help (where to park, eat, shop...) Free coffee, but no breakfast at property; available at several places across the street as well as just at the entrance of the old town.

The internet was intermittent at best, pretty much non existent. I only texted with the proprietor, she was actually very helpful in helping me find the place, which I appreciated. I liked the area, and it was fine inside the apartment, except I had a stomach problem, and only one toilet paper roll was not sufficient, luckily I had something.
