Lovely stay for a few nights
The hotel is very nicely decorated, clean and staff are attentive and helpful. The food in the cafe was nice but service was very slow, if we ordered 2 meals one was prepared before the other and then we would be waiting 20 minutes plus for the second meal. When we first went into the room a piece of chewing gum had been left on the bedside table and at the end of the stay when I pulled my suitcase out from under the bed where I had stored it, it was covered in dust on the bottom. Secondly there is a massive lack of storage space. The room technically could sleep 4 people with 2 double beds but 4 peoples luggage would not fit in the room or have anywhere to store suitcases, hang clothes etc. It was a push for 2 people. Lastly the pool was closed for the majority of our stay but we were able to use the facilities at the sister hotel across the street. The pool opened on the last 2 days of our stay and it was wonderful.

Good overall
Hotel is well positioned and good bus transport to the universal parks. Check in was easy, no queue but it was late in the day. Our room looked good but a few niggles; hook missing from back of toilet door, toilet door a bit stiff, rail by sink not connected to the wall properly and falls off, dust and rubbish behind beds but the main issue was it was above the kitchen with a huge fan / extractor that made noise day and night which affected our sleep.

After a very late cancellation at another hotel we managed to get a room here . We have stopped here a couple of times before and knew they would do their best to look after us after a very bad day . They did not let us down .I can recommend this hotel as the best budget hotel on International Drive for those visiting the parks

Amazing!! The perks jsut kept on coming
We absolutely loved everything about Surfside. The suite was spacious and clean, loved having the onsite laundry service and the pool was so nice relaxing, we wish we did our entire trip at this hotel but glad we got to experience it for a few days!! We will definitely be back!
