"We appreciated the kind staff and comfortable room and beds at this property, and that it gave us easy access to nearby restaurants and Fuji viewpoints. No trouble at all with parking, and an enjoyable hot spring bath upstairs for guests to enjoy. The restaurant did get extremely busy for breakfast and we had to wait a short time to get our seats, would suggest going very early (before 7) or toward the end (after 830). I would also suggest to the hotel to have all the food covered behind sneeze...

"Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Kawaguchiko. It is more convenient if you’re driving as the carpark is big enough. Staff are really helpful and polite and speaks good English. View of Mount Fuji is fantastic from the room. Onsen is also lovely and has an indoor jacuzzi and an outdoor bath. "

"The Lotte Arai is the best hotel for skiing and onsen. Super soft endless powder snow on the gorgeous mountain hills and the slopes were adventurous and super exciting. The expert++ slopes can be another surplus if you are expert level. The onsen is luxury level. Sitting in the hotel water with snow falling on your head, especially at Lotte's well groomed onsen is unforgettable.
The food at the hotel is not luxury level and limited as the location is all on its own with the city being 20-30 mins...
