We saw wild life on our tundra tour. We were unable to see a lot of the park due to road closers. The mountains are gravel and do not look like the Rockies . Different , very interesting

The Park was closed due to a nearby forest fire. So, we did not enter the park. The skies were overcast the entire time we were there, so seeing Denali would not have happened even if the Park was open.

We didn't go into the park, and didn't realize the actual viewing spots are over an hour from the hotel!
"Our stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins was amazing. The Lodge room included all the amenities to make our stay comfortable: a full size coffee pot, full size lotions and shower gel, microwave and fridge along with comfy beds. The small deck looked out onto the property and mountains in the distance. The restaurant on site was delicious. From breakfast, to lunch and dinner, the staff’s goal was to ensure that your meals were of the highest quality. A delightful stay near the entrance of Denali Park! "
"Beautiful place! Loved the decor and convenient shopping. Loved Fannys restaurant and Prospect pizza was THE BOMB I did wonder why my reservations were on a Tuesday and Wednesday and on Wednesday my room charge was $200 MORE. I ask the young girl at the front desk and she just shrugged her shoulders and said it varies? Not very responsive nor helpful
