Gorleston beach is beautiful and very well kept. Nice row of shops, chips, ice cream and places to go for a drink. Some amusements and a theatre near the hotel.

Terrible Toilets and lack of them. Do not understand how in 2024, you are supposed to wash your hands in cold water

The South Quay is worth a visit, but the Harris fencing at the rear of the dune front car park, opposite the Palm Court makes the place look like a building site. This is very sad, however the observation wheel and sea life are interesting.

Easy pleasant walk from B&B into high street. Beach is lovely and just across the road via the pedestrian crossing. Circus at the hippodrome was good for the price.

"The reception was very good and reassuring, room clean and comfortable, dining room very good with a very good menu. But no lift.. They in the middle of refurbishing with plans to improve the access problem "
"Jean made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully clean and fully stocked with teas, coffees etc. Only a 20 minute walk to the pier. Ideal after enjoying a hearty breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
"72 working nights away over the past twelve months, don't normally leave reviews.
The standards here, however, are truly exceptional and deserve recognition. Definitely worth a visit. "
"We booked a delux double and boy was it value for money. Beautiful spacious room, giant, comfortable bed, 2armchairs,dressing table and to top that off French doors to a small balcony, overlooking the pier and sea front. Bathroom was also spacious with great shower and a large jacuzzi bath with a TV! (which was delightful). Evening meal was basic but tasty and good value for money. Definitely recommend and will come and stay again. "
