The staff and hosts were friendly and incredibly helpful and accommodating. The dinner was amazing, not to be missed. It might seem pricey but we discovered that it was well worth it, Baiba is an amazing chef, she uses local fresh ingredients in a very creative way. We did the Sauna Ritual offered through the hotel, it was an incredible experience that was nothing like anything we’ve ever done. It opens the senses and connects one to nature and felt like we were experiencing an integral part of ancient Latvian culture. It was rainy that day so it was perfect to have the opportunity to slow down and relax. Overall I highly recommend Karlmuiza as not only a nice place to stay but a wonderful experience. "
