However, outside of the property gates the atmosphere was very run down (visually) and it appeared to be in a high poverty area. My Husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the S hotel. The hotel is up-to-date and looks newly renovated. The food was good. The location was good and the staff was really nice. Also, the beach was some of the clearest water I ever seen. What I liked most was that the hotel was not overcrowded. It was a very tranquil and peaceful Stay just enough entertainment to keep you going, but this is definitely a couples type of hotel. There wasn't much to complain about, but if I had to choose one thing I would wish for more food options.
