It was terrible checkin process. The room I booked was 2 queen beds. The front desk said can they give 1 queen bed and also a rolling bed. I had to wait for 30 mins plus after I did prior mobile check in. I said I booked well in advance and I need 2 queen beds. Then the front desk asking me to wait for more time. Ideally the room checkin time was 3 pm and I went there 9pm.. and I had to wait till 9:45 :( This is a terrible experience.. The front desk has to go inside and outside to get confirmation of room. This is a ridiculously bad customer experience. I will not consider again this place.

Ok
The room did not have a very clean feel. The stools at the end of the bed was really stained, there were make up splatters on the bathroom wall, the glass on the picture above the dresser was splattered with stuff. I went to use the hair dryer and the bag was super dusty. The shelf under the bathroom sink was very dusty. The covers on the bed were so thin; it was not comfortable. The fridge was not very cold and you couldn't adjust it. The tile floor in front of our bathroom was sticky. The air/ fan had a loud motor. I will say though that check in/ check out was easy.

Grand Sierra Stay
Weekender stay. Very reasonable price. Restaurants on the property were very good. Tried the Grand Cafe and Chickie & Pete’s. Enjoyed the concert at the Grand Theater. Casino machines weren’t ringing jackpots much. Had better luck on video poker. Staff were very cordial.

Just okay
When I paid for the room on hotels.com it said that there's no other hidden fees. After I checked out they build me $35. When I got to the room there's a dirty sock underneath the sink in the bathroom and it had been there for a while. One of the fees was $2.99 for housekeeping tip. I left them $10. There's also a fee for taxi service. I drove two and a half hours from my house parked the car self parking and left 18 hours later. And nobody uses taxis anymore

Shelter from the storm
Very welcoming and helpful and we had a lovely stay. We hadn’expected to stay the night in Reno but the storm kept us from Lake Tahoe for the night and after a long flight from England we were tired. We actually returned for another night at the end of our stay in Lake Tahoe.

Room was clean & well appointed. However, thermostat did not work properly. After a service call, it improved but required getting up several times through the night to reset (from 72). While flip-over deadbolt worked great, the actual deadbolt did not engage at all.

The smell that keeps smelling!
While the check in was fine and the young lady was very friendly, the room was awful! The room is in need if not an update but a through cleaning. Each bed had several bed/couch pillows on them that looked like they had been drug in from my grandsons cafeteria at school. They are filthy! The bed it self was clean but a new mattress is way overdue, I spent most of the night trying to keep from falling out of bed it leaned so much. But the worst problem was the smell, it reeks of urine smell!!! I could not see a leak, so my guess is its on the carpet or the floor needs a clorox mopping. While they said they would look into it, they obviously didn't mean while we were there. So please check into getting this room power cleaned!!!
