Still has potential.
The fitness room needs work. Machines not cleaned and one cable on the cable machine is stuck in place and is missing the piece needed to adjust it. The guest washing machine had dried liquid detergent down the front and around the door opening for days…I had to clean it myself. Hand sanitizer in the fitness room has been empty the whole time I’ve been here even though I notified the front desk 2x. Great service in the bar/restaurant. Food was excellent and came out fast ( though my 2nd time ordering the salmon, was undercooked). Ed is a great bartender and Kristina a warm & friendly hostess/server during breakfast.

Great hotel!
The associates at the front desk were so kind to get myself and my mom a handicap room to her disability and we got the first room off the lobby. The room was also comfortable and spacious! Plenty of room for us! I was also in town for the Danbury Museum gala and the hotel was in perfect driving distance! Will stay again!

Would stay again.
Stay was great. Only 4 stars becuase we had a problem with the heating unit, twmp outside was about 16° and we didnt have heat midway through the night. We bundled up so we didnt have to get maintenance in thr room at midnight. Once I mentioned it yo the front desk maintenance came while we were out and fixed the problem.

Such a nice find
An unexpected stay of two weeks, and it was great. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast room staff were charming and always welcoming. The service and going the extra mile was truly exceptional. The common areas are elegant and wonderful for catching up on your reading. Some rooms are already remodeled, others upcoming. Ours was older but still clean, comfortable (oh the bed!) and roomy. Definitely on the stay again, and recommend list.

Happy and Sad
.We love this hotel! Everything was great until 12:25AM. Cathy woke me up, the ceiling was leaking! UGH! Called front desk, maintenance came right away and they moved us to another room quickly. In the morning I asked about compensation for our inconvenience but all they could do is refer us to Management who would be there later in the day. (Couldn't refund any money as we booked the room through a 3rd party.) Hopefully we will hear from them and receive some satisfaction. (BTW the Restaurant\Bar Manager did offer us Breakfast Vouchers but we were on a tight travel schedule to get to our final destination of Sarasota, Fl.
