Gorgeous area - room small - furniture too big - no place to put anything - difficult to operate heat/ac and lights - confusing. Sometimes room was too hot and sometimes freezing - fro t desk admitted the system was not working right. Some desk personnel not helpful nor informative.

Not worth the high price we paid.
We had a room facing the street, room 301. There was an outdoor bar 2 doors away from the hotel. There was noise from the bar until 4:00 am on Saturday night and very noisy on Sunday evening until midnight. Not good for sleeping. Not much variety on the breakfast buffet for the price of 16 Euros. Room 301 was a nice size and comfortable bed. Close to the train station. Not worth the very high price we paid.

We loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant served really good food. The hotel was historic and had been fully refurbished to a high standard. Our only issue with this trip was that the room we had was very small. I would definitely return to this hotel, but I would make sure that we had a better room.

Very lovely property, great service, walkable to Christmas markets, many cute shops and restaurants. Don’t forget- everything is cobblestone so wear flats. :) You can also walk a flat, beautiful path from the train station to the hotel but some parts are not paved; may find it difficult with rolling luggage. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Comfortable and friendly boutique hotel
Absolutely wonderful little hotel next to the ‘ Lake of Love’. Within easy walking distance of the City centre and the main railway station it’s a great base to explore Brugges. From arrival we had a warm friendly greeting with lots of information. The room was lovely with a really comfortable Queen bed and a modern bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean. Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle was available. Recyclable paper coffee pods as well. Only comment was coffee was so good we wondered why there was only ever 3 capsules there and what was the make of coffee. We had dinner in the In The Mood restaurant and the food was lovely followed by drinks in the terrace bar which though outside is well heated with very attentive staff. We had breakfast in the hotel on our last day and it was fantastic with a wide range of pastries, breads, cheeses and cold meats all served on a cake stand at the table. I would certainly recommend this hotel and Brugges for a visit.

We were greeted by one of the owners who checked us in and escorted us to our room personally. The staff and the and the owners were more than willing to help with requests. The building appears to have been recently updated and or is very well kept, probably both. Defiantly a very old building but once you are inside there are only a few tell tale signs of it actual age, the rooms are modern and well equipped. Very quiet once inside your room. The inside and outside lounges are tastefully decorated. Very cozy and relaxing environment. We would defiantly stay again and would highly recommend this property.

Great place... Stay here
Gorgeous small hotel. Run by two siblings who clearly love the place and work as hard as they expect their staff too. Welcoming from the start the staff couldn't do enough to make us welcome. Check in is from 3pm, we were early, welcomed and allowed to park and leave our things there. 14 rooms only, we had 201 top floor, lovely view and so quiet. The rooms are well appointed, modern and with all the ameneties. Nespresso coffee machine, dressing gowns, beautiful Soaps. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Check out was 11:30am. Breakfast must be pre booked the day before €25 each. Cost €20 for car parking. Would absolutely stay there again, it's just a wonderful place near to the centre 15 min walk, yet so peaceful and quiet. An absolute gem...
