Beautiful lobby, meh rooms
The lobby and grounds are beautiful. Whatever scent they pump through the main floor is gorgeous. The rooms don't live up to the lobby. There wasn't anything wrong with them but you could tell the door to the bathroom was chipping away and been painted over. Just some small cosmetic stuff that doesn't match the wow factor of the lobby. The air conditioning was working perfectly during our trip and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I wish the pool was up for the season, but no such luck. The service in the restaurant was not great. They seemed kind of annoyed to be dealing with us. The front desk staff and the guy working the gift shop were friendly. Definitely recommend the Italian place across the road. Kid loved the robots at Robo Sushi. Great location restaurant ride. About a $30 Uber to downtown. I'd go back for sure.

Good Value with Some Improvements Needed
The hotel setting is nice. Downtown hotels tend to be pretty chaotic in Toronto, but the Pan Pacific being removed from the downtown core is more relaxed. Lots of green space outside to enjoy. That said, we’ve found the cleanliness and quality gradually slipping. A number of small things were broken in the bathroom, the toilet was not as clean as it could have been and there was mould in the caulking around the tub. The ice maker wash out of order on our floor. I also find it disappointing that hotels are still using plastic disposable cups in the rooms. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced for a hotel as they are usually very over priced. There are many other eating options within walking distance of the hotel. There are improvements that could be made, but for the nightly rate it is good value for Toronto.

8/10 Very good

Not up to the standard of a Pan Pacific hotel, in my opinion. My son's room was missing a window drape, my window wouldn't open, the shower in my room and my daughter's room took brute force to turn on. Some of our party were not given towels when the room was serviced. Random power issues with some outlets working and some not. Overnight power failure. Plastic glasses and paper cups are still being used - this needs to stop. No huge issues, just not up to what I expected.
