This terrible review had nothing to do with the property itself. It is a direct reflection of the absolutely horrible customer service of Expedia. I had a reservation to stay at the property on 10/4/2024. Due to damages of my personal property (homes, automobiles, no electric service, no internet, very limited phone service) caused by Hurricane Helene, I needed to cancel the reservation. Expedia’s phone system offered no opportunity whatsoever to speak with a human being to personally discuss my situation. The only options I was given was to cancel the reservation and be charged the room rate for the night of 10/4 or keep the reservation, in which case I would have been charged for the night as well. Expedia,s customer service is beyond horrible.
