Overnight Stop
Quick stop on the way to another destination. Needed an overnight at a reasonable price. This was it. Room was spacious enough and clean. It is near a major roadway, so noise was a factor to some degree. The steakhouse next door was convenient. Larger vehicles will have a really tight entrance and exit in and out of the property, with a one-way driveway and near 90-degree turns. For a Road Warrior like me, this was great.

Outside entry
Too many stairs, all outside. No elevator, no ice from outside machine on 2nd floor so had to go outside and down 2 sets of stairs. I didn’t know when booking that each room had outside door. Never again Breakfast mediocre. Room was clean.

Not very customer centric
The area experienced a problem with the water supply due to the hurricane. The hotel did not contact us to let us know they did not have drinkable water. They charged us $1.50 for each bottle of water even though they discontinued the breakfast service because of the water issue. They should have offset the breakfast with an equal value of bottled water. Other hotels and restaurants in the area provided bottled water.

Good location ..room for improvement
The property is right next to highway/ major thoroughfare to Biltmore Village. We visited at a time when Biltmore was still recovering from Hurricane Helene and most of the downtown was still closed. So was Blue Ridge parkway. The hotel is nice, rooms were average or below average in size. Breakfast was decent but breakfast area was congested. Staff is friendly. The rooms are set up in a way you that you are bound to be exposed to elements if you want to access the lobby or breakfast area. We stayed there for 1 night so it wasn’t long enough for it get annoying. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for family or for anyone staying beyond a night.

Clean, but could use some improvements.
It was an okay stay. The driveway to get in is a bit difficult and very steep. There is also not much parking on the property. The room was clean. The breakfast was only alright, and please be advised there are no non-dairy alternatives offered even for coffee. The price point was pretty reasonable for what was offered.

Asheville Motel
There is a Texas Road House restaurant beside the motel that shares the entrance off the highway. The restaurant was busy from the time I got there until I left, with lots of traffic jams, and huge trucks sticking out that you have to dodge to get to the motel. If you plan to leave in the evening, it will take up to 20 minutes to get on the highway. I was disappointed in the room. It was not the room that I thought I was getting. The room was small. One of the bedside lamps did not work. I tried to check in at 2 and was told they had no room for me. While an ironing board, iron, hairdryer, coffee maker and coffee was provided, it was hidden away in a closet and really no where to use the coffee maker anyway. The included breakfast was plentiful and varied. They offered sausage, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, toast, English muffins, Blueberry Muffins, cook your own waffles, Juice, yogurt, cereal and coffee. Overall it was a very clean motel, well maintained, and except for the cleaning staff, very quiet on the back side.

Will not go back
The tv didn’t work and nobody would help. The manager is a joke. Thought it was funny that house keeping kept knocking on our door at 8AM and we had planned a two night stay. Not a great experience at all. Also very noisey
