Comfortable, clean pillows to hard, friendly staff. Nice accommodations, stretch in the morning has work out room and yoga, laundry, really nice indoor pool and spa perfect for a blizzard day. Would’ve been nice to have a continental breakfast but does have fridge and microwave so was able to bring some food.

I liked the location of the property, it was close to the town center of Mammoth Lakes and it's only a few minutes drive from the hotel to the ski resort. What I didn't like was the price, I paid for 3 nights and this was one of the cheaper hotels in town. In any other town this hotel would cost a third of what I paid, yes it was clean but it was very old and out dated. The Empeiria High Sierra Hotel was equivalent to a Motel 6 or a highway stop Best Western, nothing special it was just clean, which is good I guess!

Remodeled to a modern look. Good Staff. Breakfast was fine (though have to pay). Lighting in the room was less, especially towards the farther side from door. Its probably old thin wall. Luckly our neighbors did not make much trouble. Quality of soaps could be better.
