After check-in, I was accidentally placed in an already occupied room--the first time that has happened to me in my life! Once I went back to the front desk, they changed me to a different room. The snow removal around the hotel was poor, though. Everything else was excellent.

Disappointed 😞
The parking lot was not plowed very well, between the car and going to the sidewalk to the room it was icy, we almost fell because it was so icy! The beda were not very comfortable, there was no sugar for the coffee/tea! The tub would not drain properly! I was very disappointed with thos Quality Inn stay, usually i really enjoy my stay at Quality Inns but this was the worat one i have ever been to! I was so disappointed this time!!! The picture on the wall had mildew stain on it.

Okay stay for somewhere to sleep for a night.
The sheets and towels seemed clean, as well as the room itself. However, the bathroom had trash in the floor, the bathtub was questionable, the bathroom door handle looked like I may get locked in if I shut the door, and there were random pieces of countertops propped up against the wall. The bed was comfortable. Not a bad stay for a night.

Stopover night when travelling
Rooms were nice, beds very comfortable. Cleaning lacked a bit, had to clean off night table and there was something left in fridge. No tissues and toilet flushed poorly. Perfect stopover location though. Breakfast good as well.

This is a rating of the same property that I stayed in one week later for which I gave a 1 star rating. This stay (a week prior) was very comfortable and while our neighbour played loud music. He had it turned off by 9 pm and not a peep was heard from that room for the rest of the night. Overall, it was a good experience and I felt very safe there, which made the next stay all the more surprising.

We stayed here on Saturday, October 19. Was satisfied for most part. However, someone tried to gain access to room between 1:08 am and 1:15 am. Fortunately, security lock was engaged. This person had either a Master Key, a duplicate card from another stay or some locks are the same at this hotel. If staff member, no knock on door or introduction of self & reason for opening door. Next morning, told girl at desk and while she apologized, I don't believe she took the issue as seriously as I believe it should have been taken. The lady setting up the breakfast understood the issue. This is the reason for the 1 star rating for my stay.

The room was gross. There were pizza stains on both comforters. There was mold/mildew in the bathroom - which is odd considering there was still painters tape around the entire ceiling…indicating it was recently painted. The bathroom door would not close (stopped 3 inches short). The refridgerator door would not close either...which meant lots of water everywhere... dripping from the freezer door which explains the rust spots. The microwave had not been cleaned in a loooong time. And there was paint spatter all over it and the fridge. Interestingly, there were THREE plugged-in air fresheners. Three! I've never seen ONE in a hotel before. Makes me wonder what the heck smelled so bad in here that required three of them?!? On a positive note, it's close to the interstate.

Room had outdated smelly carpet. Musty smelling room like smoking in excess. I was disappointed because it is my hometown and at one time one of the best., Breakfast very limited. I moved to another area 20 miles away in Fairmont WV for less and a cleaner environment.

Shower only had hot water, could not adjust, bathroom not very clean, dirt in the corners, on baseboard tile. Rug did not feel clean when walking barefoot. Not vacuumed in the corners of room. Alarm not shut off, went off at 4am. Smelled like mildew. Did have plenty of towels and beds were comfy.
