Very nice, clean room and bed. It would be nice to have better, brighter lighting at the mirror in the bathroom. It also might be nice to add a small refrigerator and have a microwave area for guests. We had leftovers from the restaurant downstairs but lacked accomodations for it. I did have a cooler in the car and we ate it cold. 🙂 The kitchen was kind to give me ice for drinks. Very friendly cleaning service. A+ job!

Antique hotel with all amenities and excellent restaurant right there with lovely outside eating available. Right in the heart of town and walking down Main Street full of shops and restaurants. It's almost a tourist town near Assateague Island and seashore.

Iconic old-world property in charming Berlin, MD -- although historic, it also is in need of a "facelift" that would preserve its historic significance yet also both modernize and update the property.
Outstanding restaurant, front-porch and location.
Although a bit "tired" -- strongly recommend for a nice "get-away."

Loved the vintage feel to the place and the decorations! Loved that each room is different and after cleaning they leave the doors open for you to go in for a peak. If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be staying again. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Location is in the middle of town within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Hotel was also quiet, you can’t hear anyone from your room.

We loved the historic aspect of the hotel. The bar and restaurant was nice as well. Our room was right over the kitch so it got a little loud but thats to be expected. Especially, in an older building.

I love the property. I would've loved to see anything related to the Runaway Bride Movie.
I know the movie is older, but a lot of people don't go to Berlin for that reason… I know we did and that's why we stayed at the Atlantic hotel. It doesn't have to be overkill, but it would be nice to still see some things.
I mentioned that to many of the store owners too. It would be cool to see signs in the store windows, stating what it was called during the movie.

This is our second time staying at the Atlantic Hotel - both times to attend Sour Fest at Burley Oak Brewery, about a mile away. Last year, we stayed one night and this year we stayed two nights. Next year, we'll do 3-4. There's just too much in Berlin and surrounding areas to see in 2 days.
First of all, the TOWN of Berlin is super cute and charming. We love it there. If I could live there, I would!
The Atlantic Hotel is very quaint and historic and we just really enjoy our time there - the staff is great and the rooms are clean. The Charlotte and Emily are the two rooms we've stayed in and they're pretty small rooms, but cozy. I think we'll opt for a Queen or King bed room for next year, though. And, we'll book early so we get the most available options. We've convinced our friends to stay there, too. Great place!

Terrible experience
The room was clean, staff okay, noisy during the night and the room was so small, we could barely move around in it.
Definitely will not be back and will not recommend anyone.

Very, very, very Disappointed
Hotel has not been updated in ages! Bathroom sink was cracked in several places and blackened by many years of usage. Bathroom was tiny and shower was as small as those on cruise ship. Rooms are very small. Hotel needs to be totally redone and rooms need to be greatly increased in size. Hotel does not live up to prices charged for rooms. Only thing going for hotel is its superb location in Town Center. I Don't write adverse critiques-but this one is needed!

Quaint but dirty cottage
We stayed in the cottage not the actual hotel. It needed cleaning badly. Thick cobwebs and an ant infestation, along with poor housekeeping attention during our stay negatively impacted our visit. We brought the housekeeping issue to the attention of the front desk with little effect.

Restored1895 hotel in a lively little business area, less than half an hour to Ocean City. Decorated with 19th century furniture throughout. Excellent restaurant for dinner. Hotel does not serve breakfast but there are places close by. We chose the least expensive room and it was quite compact.

The Atlantic Hotel experience was a perfect 10!! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the beds extremely comfortable, the food was delicious! Every associate we met was so thoughtful and friendly, totally invested in giving us a perfect stay, which I'm immensely happy to say they succeeded!
