Bar Harbor October
Our stay in BH for the week was good for the price. We spent most our time out & about. The hotel is basic and a little dated, our room had some updates, like bathroom & the bed was ok. The breakfast had options of grab n go. Staff friendly.

The place is pretty run down honestly. It was convenient to the town, Bar Harbor, only 5 minutes away by car. But a LOT of bugs inside and out of the rooms. To be expected, except the webs and bugs will cover your door not allowing access. They could just use a broom up there once a week... "Free breakfast" is some cereal and pre-frozen packaged muffins. Do not count on a real breakfast. They did not clean our room once in 3 days, and no we did not use the Do Not Disturb sign. Had to throw out our own overflowing garbage due to the negligence. They coded our key for 1 night instead of the full 3.. Had to get it re-coded late at night. Staff was very nice. Overall it was not a HORRIBLE experience but not worth almost $800 for 3 nights.

Very outdated hotel. Sink was clogged, no daily room service. Lady at reception( night shift ) was not friendly. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody. Only good was free breakfast which was average or below average but it was free. I was expecting much better experience especially paying roughly $300 / night.

Nice, clean, and well maintained hotel. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is close to the main road and noise from the road was sometimes noticeable at night.
