The motor lodge is in a perfect location to visit St Augustine. The staff at check-in were efficient and knowledgeable. We were able to purchase our hop on, hop off trolley tickets on the spot! We highly recommend staying at the Marion!

Great Place to Stay
So very convenient to everything. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Great place to stay. The only negative was the room above us was quite noisy when they walked around. Don’t know if it was just the room above ours or if all first floor rooms hear the stomping. If you areca light sleeper ask for an upstairs room. Other than that it is very nice. Can leave ur car parked and walk everywhere.

Great little hotel
Great little hotel in the historic district. It is a no frills hotel and the outside could use some sprucing up but the rooms were updated and very clean. For the amount of time you spend in a room when visiting St. Augustine this was a great price and great location.

The platform bed made lots of noise whenever I turned over or got up, so we could not sleep well. Upon rising the first morning I found that the coffee maker did not work and the hotel office was closed until 9am. When it opened I went in and the manager on duty loaned us the office coffeemaker, which we appreciated. The location is excellent, perfect for walking to the Castillo, the Plaza and basilica, etc., so you can park your car and walk everywhere.

Exterior was retro motor lodge but the room was very contemporary. The bed was very comfortable and everything that was needed in a hotel room was there. The location was perfect along the waterfront.

Location is why we stay
Location Location Location. That's what you're paying for. Perfect for our visits to St. Augustine so we don't have to drive anywhere. Beds are comfortable. Nice size mini fridge for all our leftovers. Cons: bathroom is TINY! Parking lot is super tiny and tight, but they always try and work it out. Maybe why they have filled in the pool and current brick paver project is in progress.

Location
The staff (Karen) was amazing to work with. The motor lodge is all about location. I could walk the loop to the Castillo along the sea wall and back down Georges street in under a mile. Plus it is Nextdoor to O. C. White’s restaurant. Life doesn’t get much better than this. The lodge is somewhat loud due to ongoing renovation.
