, and the staff were very efficient and friendly.
Our room (Smeaton) was in the old section of the hotel, accessed by a narrow spiral stone staircase, with a low oak beam splitting the room in two, unfortunately poor weather meant rain and wind hitting the not so insulated roof was very noisy and made the room cold.
We would stay again but in a different room!"
