Great hotel for an overnight stay. Room was very clean. Bathroom small, but clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The a/c was a bit noisy, but kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was mostly cold & limited. Coffee was allowed to run completely out in the morning. Staff was friendly & efficient.

Hotel was clean & comfortable- the public restroom was out of order, the business center didn’t have a printer, and the breakfast was waffles plus continental- no hot offerings. It was within walking distance to several restaurants. It was ok for an overnight stay. There are always things that the employees could be doing in the evening when it’s quiet except to stand outside by the front and smoke!

Seems like there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and around the door. Weird smell in the room too. We ended up not staying and checking out. The concierge was nice and did give us a full refund.

My husband I were out on a road trip and just needed a place to stay for the night. My complaints aren't really with the hotel. Everything was clean and stocked. There were plenty of pillows and the bed was comfy. Not as comfy as my bed at home but very açceptable.
The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. We walked to Wendy's to get something to eat. There were several choices of dining within walking distance. We just wanted something quick and easy.
Breakfast was the general hotel free breakfast. Cereal, toast, waffles, fruit (that seemed fresh), yogurt, juice, coffee.
My complaints really aren't the fault of the hotel but I'm supposed to rate my stay. The people in the room above us were heavy walkers and seemed to drop a lot of stuff. But once we went to sleep I didn't notice it anymore.
The main complaint is that there was a biker convention or something like that going on and very loud motorcycles kept showing up all night long and kept waking me up.
Again, I realize the hotel employees don't have control over how people walk, how clumsy they are, or what the customer drives but those are things I would have to weigh when choosing a place to stay next time.

We needed a place to sleep after a late flight arrival. This was great. We only stayed the one night, but it had a pleasent breakfast and was near a lot of other businesses. Staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Overall this day was pretty good I didn't care for the fact that they ran out of coffee in the morning and it was like pulling teeth to get another one and when we went down to the front desk to ask for another pillow the person was on the phone talking to somebody and just acted like we wasn't even there for 3 to 4 minutes other than that it was overall pretty good stay The breakfast wasn't much I mean just waffles but that can be forgiven I guess I think the next time I'm in cedar Rapids I'll probably go somewhere else.

The room was clean and the beds were actually comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom light did not work, the desk chair was broken, and when we turned the heat on it emitted a horrible smell. Breakfast was okay. This is our second stay at this location and several things were broken in our room during our previous stay. We gave it another chance because of the price and it was clean.

I really don’t like to talk bad about businesses. I know most are doing the best they can. The room was clean and beds pretty comfortable.
The workers at the desk couldn’t be bothered to help me at check in. One kept her headphones on watching something on her phone. The other attendant just pointed to a screen with totals on it.
In the morning our room had no hot water. It was 6 am so it wasn’t because it ran out. I went to the front desk to ask if there was a problem. One worker was asleep the other had their headphones on watching their phone. It took them a while to see me. They took one half of the headphones off and stared at me. I asked if there was a problem with the hot water. The other woke up and went to a maintenance room. We never got hot water. When we checked out, no apologies for no hot water, no offer to take a little off the price, nothing. I wasn’t looking for a discount, but some acknowledgment would have been basic customer service.
Summary, the room was not bad, but customer service, at least on this visit, was terrible.
