Great Stay, Good Value for Location
My stay here was great, less than 24 hours. The river view I had from my room was amazing!!! The bed was super comfortable and the room was quite clean with no serious issues (there was an eyelash? an hair? on the other queen bed in the room when I checked for bedbugs). Bathroom was neat and the mini fridge was clearly taken care of. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation in the upper floors so be aware that noise may be higher than normal. It took a little while for the hot water to get hot in my shower but I figured it was just due to the construction so no big deal. Noise from other guests was louder in the halls but once in my room, it was relatively quiet. Breakfast was pretty decent with a fancy pancake machine that made some good ones. And the staff was literally so kind (even to people who did not deserve kindness based on how they acted). As for parking, the way to get into the lot was confusing but the attendant (?) gave me very clear directions that made it less confusing. BE AWARE THE PRICE FOR PARKING IS ACTUALLY $37. When you check in and give them a card for the $50 incidentals fee, they let you know that the $37 will come out of the $50 and you’ll be refunded the remaining $13 (should you not party like a rock star lol). Overall, the place is great stay for a few nights and was great value for the price. It’s located on the edge of Old City. I highly recommend exploring the area as it’s so nice. And you should watch the sunrise on Race St Pier!!!

I had booked a King bed, River view room. Two weeks before check in, I call the hotel to confirm. Which they did and even promised a room on either floors 5 or 6. Cause the top two were being remodeled. We show up and are told we will be getting a queen bed room, but we should be ok with that because we are being upgraded to a river view. After 30 minutes of saying we only had reserved a standard king room, we went to our room on the 2nd floor. The view of the river (the view could be obstructed by holding a pencil at arms length in front of you). At check out we are then told we did reserve a king bed river view, but we would have our $25 dollar parking for free. But I still have to pay extra for a room I didn’t get. Thank you holiday inn express penns landing for the memories.

Excellent Service!
A very nice Place to stay , had children with me . Enjoyed the Complimentary Breakfast too. Everything was cool, and Everyone seem very respectful and attentive to Cleanliness and if we needed anything else our of the Norm. Usually, if it's not the Ritz Carlton the Breakfast is of high quality enough to have the morning Planned well , will Book after the New renovations again .

It was disappointing that even basic water was not provided. The products were inexpensive, and the hotel cushions didn't feel like good quality for the price. Overall, it didn't leave a good impression.Above all, the excessively high parking fees significantly increased the cost of staying at the hotel, making it less appealing to visit again.

Location, location, location.
4.5 stars. Location was excellent with a stunning view of Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Two streets away and there are many bar and restaurant options. Freeways are just seconds away. The breakfast is really good with an automatic pancake maker included. There are nice option for everyone. Parking is a bit awkward but a big deal. Reno's were happening between 9-5 but we were outside the hotels at those times. The hot water takes forever to get to the tap so we had to turn on 10 min prior to shower. Had issues with having our room cleaned as a day was missed and another one could have too if we didn't come back before the cleaning team left.

The key card system was down and security person was needed to take you to your room to let you in. They were accommodating with that, but it was a hassle feeling like you couldn't just come and go in and out of the room. Also, it was 28 degrees outside and the Heat was totally turned off in my room. It took more than a couple hours to get the temperature up to a comfortable level. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaner.
