Cool building. The lobby and bar are very cool. Rooms are basic. Our heater was old and was either super hot or freezing. Not a lot of frills but it was fine.

Historic, quirky hotel, in an elegant capitol
I was in town on business and wanted a hotel where I could rest and work. Who knew I would pick a hotel that was a former music school run by the Celestine Sisters! I am both a musician and a Catholic School graduate…was my higher power trying to tell me something? I don’t know. The ladies at the front desk were beyond warm and welcoming. Guests were lovely (who knew hockey fans could be so, well interesting).
I completely recommend this gem especially to all music teachers traveling for competitions!! Your students will get a kick out of the place!

Repurposed convent
Beautiful building. Incredible history as a convent and music conservatory. Big, clean rooms. Walking distance to the X and anything downtown. Easy to get to and easy to get back on 94.

Cool Spot!
Cool place to stay. Accessible via an ADA side entrance. Really pretty with original woodwork. Very modern bathrooms. Small sink space, but it's fine. Easy access to get wherever you need to be in St. Paul. My room was right next to the rail, so got a little loud, but I got used to it. Easy parking in ramp next door. Good breakfast included in price in a former chapel with lots of light and stained glass. I would absolutely stay here again. Probably wouldn't stay with small children. Great spot for business trips, singles, couples.

Cool little hotel
The building used to be a school, and it retains a lot of its historic charm. The rooms were clean and tidy--mine was on a higher floor, with beautiful views of downtown St Paul. Would stay here again.

A warm room
A unique space. We had a level 1 king room and there was a lot of street noise, including the public transport train. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel. Shower was super hot and so was the heat, which was perfect on a very cold Minnesota winter night.

Kitschy, clean and comfortable
Unique hotel with a story. Good breakfast, clean room, friendly staff, great location. Bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. Only thing I would have change would a full length mirror and more surface space in the bathroom with a table or bench. Other than that no complaints!
