A little tired
I stayed for 2 nights in the Mercure. Check in was a little slow. The reception looks impressive but the rooms and corridors are a little jaded and could do with some renovation. Breakfast was just ok, could do better. Overall decent hotel but my room was close to the elevator so quite noisy. Check out was 10:30 which was a little early for my liking.

Great stay.
Lovely stay, we enjoyed it. Shower leaked though and they were weird about plastic bags, I wanted one for the bathroom. TV was great, decent size and full Foxtel available. We loved this! We would stay again.

I would stay here again. The only problem I have is the shower back up. It doesn’t look like a drainage problem just the way the showers built. They were supposed to send up maintenance, but it’s still the same windows open so you can’t get fresh air in here other than that I love the layout of the room, quiet easy to get to everything

Mercure Brisbane is consistently good. I have stayed there a few times. I was impressed how quickly they managed to find the items I forgot in my room for me, such as my jacket left in the wardrobe and which I needed to have for my return to a much colder Melbourne. I also think it is great they don't take more than a $1 deposit and just swipe the card. When you travel a lot and the budget is constrained, those hotels that take $50 or even as much as $100 a night make your travels difficult. I do not stay at hotels that take big deposits, especially since they do not reverse them very fast and hang onto them. Congratulations Mercure for realising most business travellers are respectful and pay for everything they order, etc. I will stay there again next time for sure.

Located in the heart of Brisbane's central business downtown district. The property is steps away from the Central train station and close to the main Queen Street mall shopping, restaurant, services and entertainment area. It's also an easy walk to the South Bank Parklands of Brisbane with the musuems and theatres. My room was appropriately appointed, clean, bed was comfortable, with good air conditioning and wifi. Staff that I encountered were cordial and competent. Comfortable room, central location and value for money make this a hotel I would stay at again. Recommended!
