Regular cubicle bed with a light and privacy curtain in a room with 4 other ones. Big lockable locker. Front desk girl overnight is amazing. Loves Blueberry muffins and OJ. Worth a chat. Awesome for the money. Can’t beat it

Hotels in America are generally expensive - I booked the single room and it really is small. You basically sleep next to the sink which is interestingly outside the bathroom - which is also tiny. There is no chair or a table so you either sit on the floor or the bed. It also takes a while for the shower to warm up - terrible as I visited during the winter. The location is very convenient though, close to a lot of restaurants, walking distance to Boston Common, and a metro station.

Room was clean but very tiny. Bed was comfy. My bathroom and towels smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the elevator was extremely loud (enough to keep you up at night). Lots of weird noises at night (plumbing/the pipes in wall?) that made it difficult to sleep as well, I had to use my noise cancellation on my AirPods to sleep. Staff were all very kind. Nice location. Overall, you get what you pay for and this is a budget hotel.

Needs updating.
Room was small which was expected but the condition was pretty dilapidated. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall and the window would not lock and was off the frame so would not close. Additionally the window was so dirty you could hardly see out of it. Location was good and staff friendly.

Much better than expected
A lot of reviews complained about the size of the room and the noise. This is an old hotel and the room was small and oddly shaped, but not claustrophobic and certainly not uncomfortable. The bathroom and the room had be renovated to modern standards and look. The clerk at the desk was helpful and friendly. Given the fact that this hotel cost more than 60% less than ones in the same location, I was expecting the worse and was pleasantly surprised.

It was well priced, very clean, amazingly close to downtown and numerous attractions, stores, restaurants. The staff were awesome as well. No fridge or microwave. which depending on why your staying isnt an issue. We loved it for the 2 days we stayed!
