Nice check-in friendly staff. The condition of the property is pretty bad. No working lights in the stairwell to the second floor rooms. The overall condition of the grounds is not good. The breakfast was also poor compared to most Wyndoms. Staff was friendly and helpful

We booked this hotel for our family for a dance comp in town. We thought from the pictures it wouldn't be too bad; just dated. However; we were wrong. We got to our room and the toilet had urine on the seat and feces down the side. The mattress was a brown/yellow and there were bugs in the fridge. I went to the front and asked about a refund after explaining what I saw. I feel that if you cant clean what's obvious; I can't trust that you're cleaning the things that aren't as obvious. The man at the front would not refund our money and instead just said they could come clean the toilet. Some things can't be unseen. I'm not in need of anything fancy; but I do expect basic cleanliness. Needing updating is one thing; but there's no excuse for that. We left within 15 minutes of checkin and went to the holiday inn across the street.

We had stayed at the Lamplighter for years and once Days Inn bought this property I figured we would still try it. Will not be back. Check in was a hassle with no one in the lobby. Had to call someone to come help me with check in ? Then room was ok but a few lights and blow dryer didn’t work.

We did not even end up staying at this property, it was so bad. The front desk staff was completely missing when I went to check in. A lady was already waiting when I got there and informed me she had called the phone number listed by the telephone to get help twice and still no one had come. Finally, about 20 minutes later I was checked in. The property itself is extremely run down. It honestly looks like it’s abandoned. We decided to look at the room before we took any of our stuff with us, and thank goodness we did. The room was in complete disarray. The sheets were not on the bed, the blankets were laying on the floor and dresser, and my husband noticed the smoke detector was completely missing and there were just wires sticking out of the wall (he is an electrician, so he always notices things like that). Needless to say, we were not staying there. We turned our key in (had to use the front desk phone to get help yet again, even though all of this happened in the middle of the afternoon). Just terrible. Do not stay here!

This room was absolutely disgusting. The toilets did not flush the bathtub did not drain. The sheets and bed spreads were stained were stained and the light bulbs in the lamps had been spray painted red for some reason. I contacted hotels.com and they refused to give me a refund. They offered me 25 dollars in one key cash which doesn’t even cover the cost of the taxes for this stay. My 4 year old couldn’t even take a bath because of how gross the bath tub was. I will be calling the health department to have them inspect this hotel.

Been awhile since staying there. More run down than ever. Didn't clean room between days, had to ask for towels and a working hair dryer, 2 in room not working. Not clean and think I have a couple bed bug bites. Liked staying there because I could wash my clothes for free before leaving, changed to a pay washer and dryer and no change machine. Breakfast did move back to the dining area, but limited food choices and no oj. Was there on Friday and Saturday and the bar was not open anymore. Never going back!

Very dingy hotel in pretty poor repair. We also found used press on nails on the chair and the toiletries were half used. Bed was a good size but not that comfortable with very small pillows. There were random hooks and bits of tape around the room and the paint was badly peeling in the bathroom on the ceiling. Check in at desk was fine and room was cheap.

Now branded Days Inn by Wyndham I'd have expected much better. They still had Lamplighter Hotel on the phones and key cards etc. Pictures of my room are attached. 1 of 3 ice machines on the property were working. I entered my room to the HVAC off. It was 28* outside and not much warmer in the room. Breakfast was all cold stuff including the eggs and sausage, some of which appeared to be recycled from days past. The only hot thing would have been a make it yourself waffle but I didn't want to chance it.
Missing TP holder and no extra rolls.
Rusty ironing board.
Broken TV
Some nastiness on the wall.
