The location of this hotel is excellent. Very close to the train station, Franklin Institute, and natural history museum and an easy walk to Reading Market. There is a good Irish pub attached to the hotel that serves breakfast through dinner with some other good restaurants nearby. The location was noisy though especially during the night hours when there was a lot of motorcycle noise. It has a nice pool area and a good fitness center. Everything about the hotel was excellent except for the room itself. We had a 2-room suite, which was very spacious with a small kitchen. It was a large amount of space, which was great, but the bathroom was VERY small, and there were unattractive stains on the bottom of the bath tub. The furniture looked a little beat up. There were stains on the bedroom chairs, etc. The room definitely needs a renovation including less closet space and a bigger bathroom.

I would give this place 10 stars but the valet is a total joke. It takes almost 20 minutes to drop your car off and then 30 minutes to pick it up. One will see why when they get there. Zero hustle. They get angry and combative when you ask what's taking so long. This cannot be the hotel's solution. The front desk people were nice.

Room was big. Was surprised that it had 3 closets! Very clean. Nice staff. You can easily get the fridge stocked by emailing a grocery list and they will make it happen for you. Only regret was not staying longer.

The hotel was great, the view from our balcony was beautiful, the rooftop swimming pool / lounge area was extremely nice. The Con Murphy restaurant food was excellent. The location was convenient for our trip. The hotel manager checked us in and was very friendly and helpful.

The staff members are all wonderful - friendly and helpful. The suite provided the space and amenities we needed and it was nice to have a balcony. The king bed was comfortable. My only less than stellar comment is that the chairs and couch were uncomfortable. All else was great!

It was ok. Fine for a night. The TV in the room didn’t work and the front desk was pretty curt with us when we asked to use the pool on the day of check out. They told us “no, you do not have access to the premises.” It was pretty jarring and didn’t get the most hospitable experience. We booked the location because of the pool and were pretty disappointed that they wouldn’t accommodate us using the facility for even an hour.

The heater for the pool was broken, so the water was ice cold! Our toilet was also not draining well, and the overhead lighting in the room was an unpleasant hue. But we very much enjoyed our bed, location, cleanliness of the room, and we were comfortable. Thanks!

The room size of the suite was large and more than we needed. Room service cleaning did a great job. I didn't like how one of the queen beds was sloped because the box spring was broken. So sleeping slanted was not fun. Also the kitchen area was a bit dated with a gas stove that had knobs on the front which was not child friendly. And the toilet made noises all night.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is ideal, walking distance to so many of the downtown cultural attractions in Philadelphia. It is also an incredible value. We stayed one night (Monday) and got a suite for four people (two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, with a kitchen and living room) for the price one might pay for a single night in a room with one double bed anywhere in the Manhattan area. Dining options in the area are so good, it was difficult to choose. This was the perfect suite for dropping my teen off at a concert. Teen and friend had their own room, husband and I had our own room, and the kitchen was useful for the takeout that the kids got late-night after the concert. The staff here is wonderfully welcoming and professional. I think it's highly likely we'll stay here again on our next visit to Philadelphia.
