Beautiful room, comfortable beds, able to control temp in room, and VERY quiet, and the blackout curtains worked great, The buffet was wonderful but time it right for the elevators. Ps the bed is a little high because of luggage storage underneath. It’s in a central location, will definitely stay again!

Great location, good rooms, poor service
This is a really good location hotel for a trip to NYC. Rooms are small, but very comfortable and housekeeping keep them very clean. The service overall in the hotel is just very poor. Check in and guest services is poor. We also had an issue at check out where there was a charge for a breakfast we never had. Which they assured us we wouldn’t be charged for and then subsequently were. We didn’t bother with breakfast in the hotel as it was expensive and the process to get to breakfast in the morning looked horrendous. Queues downstairs in the lobby, lifts up the 5th floor to have it, queues there to be seated. So it was frustrating to be lied to, and the staff just didn’t care. There are other similar hotels in NYC with better staff and service.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay.
The room is quite small but very clean and comfortable. The desk is narrow when I had to do some work with my laptop. Very nice bathroom. The only issue is the thermostat. Had a hard time setting the temperature. AC was on during our entire stay so the first winter night was cold. I like the convenient to many good restaurants. Subway stations are within short walking distance. The Grab N' Go is a great place to have drinks and affordable breakfast for US$5.99 for a cup of coffee and crossiant. A worthy quick breakfast before heading out for a full day tour of Manhattan. Tried the buffet breakfast. Not bad but there is room for improvement especially the hot food selection. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at RIU. Thank you for the hospitality.
