Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Pool area looked clean (did not go in). The front desk at check in and check out was extremely friendly and courteous. Plenty of eating establishments around. There is a walking/running path with a couple of ponds out back. The hotel is only a couple of miles from Dulles. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and arriving planes were coming in right outside our window. Pretty cool! Plenty of parking also.

If you are dependent on having wifi you will want to stay somewhere else. To get wifi you have to be in the lobby. It does not reach the rooms. It seems a bit pricy for the caliber of hotel but tgen every hotel seems spendy in DC especially around airports. On the plus side, there is an indoor pool and a jacuzzi although there was a sign for the two days I stayed saying it was closed for maintenance. The shuttle leaves only on the hour but the drivers were very nice and helpful and bonus the will drop you at the air museum on the way back to the hotel and pick you up. A worthy endeavor if you have time for it.

Non existant airport shuttle
I called for the free shuttle at the airport and was told it would be here in 15-20 minutes. After 45 minutes it still had not arrived. I called back and was told 'there was a delay' and it would come in another 30 minutes. When I finally got to the hotel, with an uber, I was given nothing. There are so many hotels in this price range, I'm not sure why I chose this one, but I will certainly never stay here again when I need an IAD airport hotel.

I’ve noted this hotel in my files as nearly perfect. I actually got a handicap accessible room! I often don’t. Other hotels will say they can’t guarantee that when a third party (like Hotels.com) is used. Well, this hotel accommodated me in every way. Everything was clean and attractive. The staff certainly weren’t rude but they weren’t ‘Marriott friendly’. That didn’t matter to me as I was thrilled with my room and the lodgings in general. The hot breakfast (sausage, eggs, pancakes, etc was a plus).
