The place is rundown, even the touted Executive Tower. Needs a complete renovation and they need to hire staff who aren't lazy and rude. I always enjoy not feeling like a nuisance checking in to a room I paid for.

It never disappoints!
We are no strangers to the Clayton Plaza, we have stayed here on several occasions over the last few years and it never disappoints. My only complaint this time is that the pool was not heated as it usually is, and was never given an explanation as to why. The room was great, and most of the staff are great. Will definitely stay here again.

Customer service was lacking. When asked specific questions, customer service made no attempt to obtain answers or resolve the situation. (e.g. An event was scheduled in the ballroom, on the same floor our rooms were located. When I inquired about the hours of the event due to noise level, and the lack of parking in the garage due to the event, I was consistently told, “I don’t know”.) We were all very disappointed.
