Overall the place was okay but we had a few issues.
Upon arrival during check-in, our key card wouldn't open our door. They looked it up in the system, reset my key card etc... after 20 minutes in the cold (balcony side), trying to fix it, they told us that our room was already booked. That sucked but it felt wayyyy worse in the cold snap that we got. They finally gave us another room.
In that second room, the hot water in the shower didn't work, the water was barely lukewarm. We asked them so many times, they said,that it was normal and it was on purpose so that people don't get burnt. But it was super cold outside and inside and the water was literally cold. The next day, i begged the receptionist to come inside and check the water. He was at the door but refused to enter and to even touch the water...another day passes without hot water.
The last day, i asked again and i started being very mad.they finally sent the maintenance guy who told us that the knob was switched backwards in our room, all the way to the left was very cold instead of hot.so that was the problem.
We wouldn't have known, especially since all the way to the right was lukewarm (barely) . Had they accepted to come and check, we wouldn't have had this problem.
Staff was in general friendly but became rude and inefficient when it came to dealing with the problem.
