It was a clean hotel. The staff was moderately friendly and helpful. I was uncomfortable being watched at all times. I caught staff members peeking around the corner at me. Twice. We were told not to enter or exit in any of the side doors besides the front entrance. I took it as they wanted to watch who entered and exited. Also, the owners family live in the hotel. Just a weird situation all around.

Nice place to stay
Really just needed a place to stay close to my sister. We had full busy days and got back to the room late and left in the morning. This was a perfect place for that. The room was clean comfortable and quiet.

Spacious room; sad breakfast
We were pleased with the ability to have three queen beds so our teens could have their own beds! We had a plumbing issue but the staff fixed it quickly. They should not advertise that breakfast is included when the coffee is cold and the food is either a granola bar or a wrapped pastry. We went out to eat the first morning and bought breakfast items at a grocery store for the second.

Not sure if it's worth even a 3 star
Room stunk. A good mix of a smoke, body odor, and chemicals used to cover it. The mattresses hurt our backs pretty bad. TV didn't have any channels available when we checked as if it had no service. Had to have a front desk attendant find them. They blamed an updated server and there is a longer way to get to the channels. Inconvenient. Holes in the walls from previous furniture look bad. New furniture looks and smells terrible!

This property is a good value place. All areas we saw were clean and tidy. Room and bathroom were clean. Good comfortable pillows. Average mattress. Warm bedding. New hi-def TV that worked. Shower worked. Hot water when needed. Nice amenities. One suggestion for improvement. Free breakfast area was clean. Limited selection than comparable places. Insulated cups were tiny. No lids. So difficult for a to go hot beverage. Irritating as it turned colder during our stay. Odd thing was soda machine was unplugged and you had to go to the front desk to buy one. Maybe a little too aggressive on cost containment by the owners.
