I had an incredibly disappointing experience during my stay at the resort, especially considering I was there to honor my mother's memory. Based on the resort's reputation, my expectations were high, but they quickly diminished upon arrival.
From the very beginning, the check-in clerk directed me to a coworker, leading me to believe I would receive assistance in locating my room. Instead, I found myself subjected to an aggressive sales pitch, which was far from the warm welcome I anticipated.
To make matters worse, the resort underwent significant construction, resulting in limited elevator access. During my stay, I experienced a harrowing situation when the elevator I was in stalled, inducing a wave of panic and distress. The staff's response was disheartening; they seemed indifferent to the anxiety this incident caused me, which added to my sense of discomfort.
I attempted to escalate my concerns by requesting a call from the manager, but to my dismay, I received no follow-up. I also took the time to send a comprehensive email outlining my grievances, yet I was met with silence—an unfortunate indication of the lack of professionalism and consideration I encountered.
