Stay elsewhere

The only highlight of my stay was being able to check in early. This hotel is even more dated than the pictures reveal, and my room smelled of smoke; overall, the place didn't look or feel clean. Though the bed was tolerable, the bedding is cheap, thin and overly due for replacement. Two different staff members were unable to perform basic job duties - giving a local restaurant recommendation and providing a receipt for my stay upon checkout. Wouldn’t recommend given the many other options at a similar price point so close to SFO.

Front Desk Staff Very Rude

Do not recommend this Hotel. I Called the front desk and requested a rollaway bed and the lady at the front desk rudely told me that she could not offer me one even though the room was very big and had plenty of room for one. It made no sense her excuse for not wanting to accommodate my request she was simply just being rude. My son was taking me to the airport in the morning and he had to sleep on the floor because of her laziness. In addition to this we had neighbors that were partying all night and were very noisy, no one intervened even though they were upsetting many of the guest. In the morning while I was getting ready to leave the power went out. The only plus was the breakfast and there was a good variety of food, but the taste was not good and again the staff was extremely rude. Out of all the staff I dealt with the man at the front desk in the morning was ok as far as checking us out quickly but he also had very poor customer service skills and no patience. I was going to share my concerns with him in the morning but he acted hurried and like he didn't care to listen. Oh and one more thing, I asked if the could change my room and they wanted to charge me "to downsize my room". Overall horrible experience. I can go on but I'll simply stop here.

Great Place..Do ONE easy thing for the better.

Great place to stay. Part of a week in the Bay area with family. Close to airport, and a great FREE breakfast selection which is very popular. Get there the earlier the better. My one suggestion is to at least REMOVE the shredded sheer curtains that are in the rooms. You don't even have to replace them, as there is the privacy/shade vinyl blinds to use. These shredded curtains give a bad impression to an otherwise great experience. Hotel is extremely clean.

Loved the location but the inside felt like you were being dropped off at a nursing home. Gloomy & slowly dying, outdated pretty much if you need to plug something in you better unplug one of the 7 lamps in the room but it had some perks location, quiet, parking, walkable
