Lovely small city with a good buzz with students and residents alike and lots of history. Plenty of rail links and buses both across the city and out around Devon/across nationally. Plenty of shopping opportunities with both chains and independents

Exeter is a small and great city with historic sites and riverside. The high street has seen better days with lots of antisocial behaviour but it's not unsafe. Eating options are plentiful but generally they are chains so quality is okay.

Very historic city. The Red Coat tour we had at the beginning of our stay was free and informative and allowed us to plan suitable activities for the other days.

Exeter museum was extensive and had lots of unique items. Lots of shops and great for a night out! Loads of things to do for couples or family's. You don't need your car for most of these things.
"I love the concept of sustainability here and it has been implemented extremely well, whilst maintaining high standards. The tea/coffee/hot chocolate area on each floor rather than in rooms gave more variety, better quality and the refillable water bottle in the room to use for the filtered water at the refreshment station was excellent.
The bed was so comfy and the room was excrptionally bright, airy and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming!"
"We really enjoyed our one night stay. We had a twin room overlooking the atrium, which we booked using Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Our room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed making use of the gym and spa facilities, which were included. "
"Motel style accommodation, rooms spacious, well equipped and clean. Restaurant also run to high standard by Manager Raj, great choice at breakfast plus evening meals with good menu choices and lounge bar available."
