The property has numerous types of rooms, including a new hotel under construction. We stayed in one of the older motel rooms with obstructed view due to trees they don't own. A walk across the campus will reveal the magnificent view. It was a fair deal in the early fall in a really interesting town.

I don’t tend to stay in the hotel room much during my trips, so the room quality isn’t never really the most important aspect to me. Bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The AC didn’t seem to have a heating mode but there is a separate heater that works quite well. I stayed in the Livingston building and there seemed to be an odd smell when you enter your room but it’s not a particularly bad odor, it just takes a minute or two to get used to the smell. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend others with a smaller budget to definitely consider this location. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main area of Bar Harbor.

Loved the live piano music! The pianist was absolutely amazing and it was a wonderful time to meet and chat with new friends!!! The pool and hot tub were nice surprises and the view from our balcony and windows was AMAZING!!

Check in was a little messed up as our GPS took us in the back way. Check in was in a totally different hotel or different building, I am not sure which. The property was very confusing until you got use to which way to go. The room we stayed in was old and dated. There was lots of hair in the bathtub and a HUGE bug that we had never seen before. Bed was super comfortable. The views from the restaurant were stunnng. The food was ok. But in all fairness they were closing this weekend for the season. So they were out of some popular choices. Staff were great. Would we stay again. Maybe.

Initially, finding the main office was a bit problematic as the layout of the hotel and its neighboring hotel was confusing. All in all, however, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

It was a bed. Nothing too special. Shower was difficult to operate, coffee was bad and had to walk to the main hotel for water. The room was very dated but bed was comfortable which was the main goal I suppose.

Fantastic property, easy access to town. Rooms are basic but absolutely perfect for all needs! Clean! Indoor pool and whirlpool were delightful. We will definitely be back!!

The location is great! Close to both Bar Harbor and Acadia. Room could have been perhaps a little bit bigger for the price but everything in that area is expensive! It appeared that they were doing work on some of the property but No “WonderView” from our room.
