The big problem is the number of drug users and homeless in the vicinity. Not the hotels fault I know but it does put you off from going again. Especially if you are a lone female. The hotel itself was nice and the staff lovely. It was very handy for the trolley too. The food was OK.

Really nice hotel with comfy beds. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Only downsides were lukewarm shower, super expensive parking, and homelessness problem on the streets surrounding the hotel. Also, we wanted to sit out on the roof deck but most of the area was closed for a private event.

Overall, it was a good stay, although I did not really care for the downtown area. The parking was extremely expensive $70 a day which caused us to have to find parking elsewhere and then walk-through or pass the homeless and it wasn’t comfortable. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. We asked to be moved to a balcony room and after that our stay got better, but other than that, it was a basic hotel room and the reason why we like staying in boutique hotels is to get a different experience. The bathrooms could be restored they’re getting a little beat up.

Pleasant surprise as I had no expectations. The hotel decor is super cute, staff beyond friendly and helpful and the room was quite large, great bathroom/shower, bed super comfy and bedroom spacious with everything one could need. Location is great if you want to venture out to Gaslamp district or Little Italy. Short rides away from other fun areas. Only downside are the homeless in area.

When we checked in I noticed there was no dresser to put clothes in. I went to the front desk and the explanation I got was it was because I asked for a queen size bed! What? Also, the bathroom sink faucet was so low to the sink that I could barely get a glass under it. But I will say that the breakfast was excellent!!
