Georgetown

We enjoyed the mountain cabin environment in Georgetown. We stayed in the motel which was good. If we were staying more than one night I think we would have stayed in one of their cabins.

8/10 Very good

Great place to stay and not break the bank. Walls are thin but after a hard day on the slopes and a couple of beers you get right to sleep.

The staff were very friendly and share their experiences about the places near by to visit or ski. This was a convenient place for loveland ski place.

Nice stay with family

The stay is what you'd expect for the price near the mountains. The lady working the front counter was very sweet . If you're in the mountains and need a budget friendly place to stay this is.

The floor in our room needed to be vacuumed & there was a dirty towel hanging up behind the bathroom door.

Consider alternatives

I felt like it was a motor lodge at a campground. Folks hanging around the courtyard right outside our door smoking, drinking, dogs running around. A real hike to get ice, a somewhat spooky hot tub room. It was almost impossible to get ahold of the front desk when we were delayed. The room had pillowcases too small for the pillows, all the sheets were dingy yellow. Way too overpriced for value. No kleenex in room. Was glad we only stayed 1 night.

8/10 Very good

Staff was very helpful and accomodating! Room was clean and water was hot! Convenient to highway 70 and most ski resorts. Has 2 big hot tubs!

4/10 Fair

Rooms are very dated. First room reeked of cigarette smoke and we were moved after complaining. Desk clerk was very nice but room dusty- air conditioner blew dust when turned on, soap scum on bathtub from previous guest. Electrical outlets did not work on one wall and the refrigerator had to be unplugged for the tv to be plugged in.
Debra, 1-night trip

It was an excellent stay over place. Very close to everything. The only suggestion that I can offer is to provide more options during breakfast. Overall it is a very nice place to stay.

Jared, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It's not fancy, but it is convenient and cheap. It's an older property, but the staff is awesome and it's nice having breakfast and a hot tub. Good enough for an overnight at half the price of Dillon, Silverthorne and beyond.
Rebecca, 1-night trip

Old Lodge, Decent Value

Acceptable accommodations for a ski trip where you’re only spending time in your room to sleep and shower.
