This is the second year that we have stay here. We really love the decor, but it is in need of being updated. The wall paper in the bathroom was pealing off, even some in the main room. The pool and hot tub area could use some cleaning and maybe some updates also. The breakfast was the usual complimentary breakfast.

Honestly probably the nicest hotel staff we have ever encountered. We inquired about an early check in & the hotel was happy to offer it. (Even though they were sold out the night before) Breakfast staff was very attentive & ensured the dining area was clean. Will definitely stay again.

I was impressed about the amenities and services. However, the mattress on the bed in which slept was less than comfortable! It felt “mushy”, and there were places that “something” actually dug into my hip… like a broken spring! Otherwise, given I was there just one night…I will come again!

There were ants all in the room and we paid for one of the theme suites which is almost a $400 room and I did get a discount on it because I used your site through hotels.com so that was good but they did not offer to give us the equal exchange of a room to have a room that was not full of ants or reimburse the difference of a cheaper room. I had one of the hotel staffs call me and say that they would pay for the stay since they could not get us into an equal room equal value. But then they did not even do that. I won't be going back. I've been going to stoney Creek for 4 years now. This would be my last visit

Pleasantly surprised

The first time I've stayed at a Stoney Creek. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by them. The place was clean, they had a great pool that was indoor and outdoor. I wished I had a swim suit. They have a bar with some food there, pizzas, wings and appetizer types of food. Their breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the bed was too soft for my taste. I woke up with a sore back, but that's just me. I will definitely stay at one of these again.
