May 25, 2026Convenient location for our visit. A bit pricey. On-site parking available, but limited. Rooms smelled of marijuana, but clean. Staff helped with locating evening parking on-site when lot was full. Room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Jun 10, 2026I was looking for budget accommodation near LIRR before flying out of JFK and Mirage checked all the boxes. Room was clean and staff held our bags with no issue. We didn't hear people in other rooms but a lot of sound came in from the door. This is not a location to sightsee from but I would stay here again if I wanted a good stopping point between JFK and other parts of NYC.

May 26, 2026Great experience overall. 24-hour check in was helpful. Their parking lot was full when I arrived, but they were still able to accommodate parking. Wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but the hotel is right by a train line so that's just something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper

Jun 12, 2026For one of the cheaper hotels in Brooklyn, this isn't bad. Reviews complain about a hint of cigarette smoke smell and yes, that is the case. But the room is nice and modern, located near transit, and I got what I needed for not a terrible price. There was a opened condom wrapper laying on the floor near the elevator for 3 days. Atlantic Avenue can be a bit sketchy, especially at night. The sound of the LIRR trains going by isn't so bad, it sounds like occasional rolling thunder. If I need a hotel again, I would stay here.

Oct 29, 2025I really liked the Hotel MIrage. It was very clean and has very friendly staff. While it is not in the heart of Brooklyn activities, I had a car with me that the staff kindly allowed me to marking in the small parking area right behind the hotel.

Sep 24, 2025Room was clean and a decent size. It was perfect for my overnight stay to catch a flight at JFK airport. It was near the subway and a short car ride to different places The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. I would stay here again.

Oct 9, 2025Absolutely no complains about my stay. Room was clean and staff was very helpful. Location is not ideal, it's not very close to the subway and the walk is not very nice but it's a lot more affordable than most stays in Brooklyn.

Nov 30, 2025The room was small but clean and very functional, with a desk, a small fridge, and plenty of 110V and USB outlets. The hotel has a parking lot — a very valuable feature in this area. It’s located close to a subway station, making it a great base for trips to Manhattan. :)

Jul 24, 2025Hotel is next to the train track so you will need earplugs, also is not a smoke free hotel so you can smell the weed.
Staff was very friendly.

Jun 13, 2026The real bad: Room was not cleaned thoroughly. There was filth behind the door, so you know they're not cleaning everywhere. Surfaces were wiped with something slimy that I didn't want to place anything on. Walls had hand marks on all sorts of weird places. Safety lock on the door was not working. The plain bad: Room was very dark. Wallpaper was peeling off. No place to put your language besides the desk. Not a single shelf in the shower to put your shampoo or soap. The good. Bathroom and towels were clean. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. A/C worked properly. Lobby: Looks great for show but there are no amenities besides two chairs.

Nov 4, 2025Room was clean, lady in reception who seemed to be there 24 hrs a day, was friendly, polite, helpful. Only downfall was noise from outside, train, busy road, and inside, every time the lift opened or someone opened a door it sounded like it was right outside your room. If you could soundproof doors and windows the hotel would be ideal

Sep 27, 2025Staff was decent, room was below expectation, area felt unsafe especially at night. Area was extremely noisy, Long Island Railroad runs directly across street from hotel, dining choices in area are extremely limited.

Dec 30, 2025There is a very small parking area behind the building, recommend getting there early, park, and use public transportation for your stay. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows could have used an update. The check in person was nice. The rail system is in front of the building so there is some noise from that. It is a non-smoking facility, but the smell of cannabis was strong from other guests.
