Terrible

Room was absolutely disgusting. A huge stain on the couch. It was so dusty I had to wipe everything down with our Lysol wipes. The wash clothes in the room were supposedly clean with makeup stains on them and some form of brown spots on the other.

Great Service

We were booked at a different hotel and when we got there we found out the hotel was in a horrible condition that we had to leave right away. Thankfully Hyatt Place had few available rooms. We were able to book the room and check in within less than 30 minutes. They were nice, welcoming, and made our stay comfortable. We weren't able to park in the garage for one night, and they took off the charge for that day. Thank you for everything!

There was no hot water in the sink or shower. There was a dirty towel from the previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there was no bedding for the pull out sofa.

Liked the first night so much I booked again!

I have to say that EVERYONE was so darn nice! I liked my stay so much that I booked a second day! Thank you Safari for being so kind and welcoming when I checked in and thank you to the very kind desk clerk that made sure I was booked the second day (it was about 630 in the morning on Wednesday). I forgot to get her name but she was so nice and got me all set up in the same room for another night!

Disappointed

The pull-out couch bed had holes in it the beds were uncomfortable and the pool was questionable so we didn't let our kids swim in it the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was pretty good..... but having to pay $30 for parking was a bummer..... if I would have known about that we might have stayed somewhere else we have stated other Hyatt locations like in downtown Oklahoma City and it was a 10 out of 10 experience unfortunately the downtown Des Moines Hyatt was disappointing
