The a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof is conveniently located near the Vienna main train station, making travel to other parts of Europe a breeze. Unfortunately, if you're interested in seeing other parts of the city, there's a lot of walking involved or taking the tram to get to your destination.

I stayed there for two night. First, i got a handicap room which was in bad condition with unclean bedding and different size mattresses. Later, i got another room which has smelling bathroom. The staff was really cooperative. They arrange the cleaning of bathroom but still it was stinky and unclean. Bathroom of the property needs maintenance or deep cleaning.

Strange place. There’s college kids drinking in the lobby late at night playing loud music so you hear them in the hallways late. But there’s also families that stay there so you hear kids being loud in the hallways in early morning. Check out is 11am but the housekeepers came into my room 5 times starting at 830 trying to get me to hurry up and leave so they could clean. It was the same woman 3 of the times.

This hostel/hotel won for the worst stay of one night ive ever had after 25 years of travel. We were staying in a "family room" on the 1st floor, beside us across from us and all around us were drunk 18 year olds who apparently rented the rooms to party thru the night. After our 7 hour train journey from Krakow we just wanted to get a decent sleep with our 2 year old after we got on the train to Venice the next day. We slept 3-4 hours. Contacted security once and they had a "talk" with them, it lasted five minutes. Security nor the staff didn't come up to check the floor again. They were bouncing balls off of the wall by our bed, our room shook many times. If they offered to PAY us 500eu to stay there again we would decline.
