Cheap, Affordable, and Not a Compromise
It was a good stay.
I wouldn't recommend this for some who's used to a "silver spoon" lifestyle as this is the equivalent of crashing on a friend's couch for a couple of days; not so much personal space, there's always someone in the bathroom, and there is very little regard for your sleeping schedule.
Expect what you pay for, but if the low price was the appeal to begin with, then understand that it's not a compromise to your safety. I found the staff to be very dedicated to their job and that gave me some peace of mind. Moreover, just sitting in the lobby with a menagerie of people felt like the start menu of a Persona game. It's a vibe.
Finally, there are small lockers around if you'd prefer some added security and there are female only rooms if that was a concern of yours. The immediate area feels a bit shady - especially at night - but I'm also from Indiana and was just getting used to being in a big city.
But again, it was a good stay.
