Some good some bad
Online check in was very easy and definitely worth doing. All I had to do was give my name at the desk and everything was all set. The first room we were given had not been cleaned. There was trash on the floor and on the desk, trash still in the trash bags, and hair in the bathtub. It also smelled awful, like someone had smoked in it. I went downstairs and asked to be moved. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and quickly found us another room. It was clean and didn't smell too much. I had read in Google reviews about the smell in some rooms and brought those little air freshener trees you put in cars. Those helped a lot. Heat in the room worked great. Heat in the shower, not so much. I had about 30 seconds of warm water then freezing cold. I mentioned this at the front desk upon checkout and it seemed like they had heard this complaint before. I never could get the TV to work but I brought my fire stick so it wasn't a big deal. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night. I was pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast as there were Belgium waffle machines and sausage biscuits you could microwave. I was expecting muffins and bagels. All in all, not an amazing experience but not a bad one. The staff here is very nice and although that makes up for some of the shortcomings, I would not have stayed another night without hot water. My daughter didn't even get to take a shower.
