At check in the desk clerk was absolutely clueless.I had added a night and they didn’t put the additional night onto the existing booking. Instead, they booked it through the hotel at a slightly higher rate. She told me I would only be charged for that one night, as the “virtual card” was being used for the nights booked through the hotels.com. Then, when I went to the room assigned I found it destroyed. Pillows were stacked on the entertainment center, there were no sheets on the bed. the sink, toilet, shower, and room in general were filthy. I went back down to the front desk and the girl once again just stared blankly, not knowing what to do. What seemed like the head of housekeeping then began laughing and told her that she put me in a room that was “out of order”. There was no offer of recompense or small peace offering to make it right. Instead, just a check of the cleaning sheet and the cleaning manager saying “you can put him in 510 if he doesn’t mind the smell of bleach, cause I just cleaned it.” So, she swiped the cards and sent me to the room that nearly made my eyes water from bleach. The air conditioner was like a jet landing the whole time. Then, the day before I left I found out that I had been charged for all of the nights on my card. Once again, same clueless desk clerk chugging a Mt Dew and pretending she was doing something until a manager had to bail her out after thirty minutes. Again, no offer to do anything to make up for another error.
