Beautiful old building. Room served its purpose for an over night stay with a shared bathroom..The hotel was centrally located in the town. We ate a lovely meal in in the restaurant in the evening and it was reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive. We had a continental breakfast in with the price.

The room had an internal window and was rather small. Two single beds were what we asked for. The room wes very dated, but the hotel Is very old and alot of the original features are still there. They had put a new bathroom in. We ate in the dining room and had a very tasty meal.

Some reviews made me apprehensive. Our stay was great. Room spotless and quiet, en suite more than adequate, water pressure fabulous!!! Dinner menu more than adequate - apparently new cook/chef? One cannot control the other guests who chose to talk in the corridor outside my bedroom. my self contained room was next door to the 4 shared bathrooms. So next time , I will ask for a room away from the shared bathrooms. The self serve continental breakfast was plentiful.
