Our family took a trip to Santa Cruz for a get a way. The Hyatt was wonderful for all of us. Staff was very nice and helpful, Pool and hot tub were clean, the kids loved it. Breakfast was delicious and even had something for my picky eater. Our room was large and very clean. Vallet very convenient. Santa Cruz Hyatt Place was perfect for our family get a way, we will be returning in the future.

Super clean hotel! We loved the spacious room. The valet staff and gals at the check in desk were incredibly friendly and offered up wonderful suggestions. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk through a residential neighborhood to the boardwalk. The free breakfast was perfect. They offered coffee/tea, juices, bagels/ toast, oatmeal, yogurt, French toast, bacon, eggs and sausage! Perfect for those with families. We will definitely book that hotel next time we are in Santa Cruz!

Valet parking is a nuisance. I like to come and go as I wish with the valet parking you have to go to the front and they have to get your car every time it’s annoying and that comes even with a $19 fee.

High end feel for lower cost
One of the most spacious rooms I've ever stayed in. Normally you would have to pay suite prices, but their regular King room, which included a sitting area with fold out couch and lots of floor space. Very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was typical hotel fare, but a wide variety of options, and they seemed to try harder in presentation. Being a 10 minute walk from downtown Santa Cruz was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
